EXCEL TRAINING FAQ

Training to YOU is dedicated to providing the best online and in-person Excel training classes. Find answers to some of our most frequently questions related to Excel training below, or contact us should you require further assistance.

This depends on your current level of experience. Reference our Excel Tracks document here to determine the path that best suits your training needs. Most will benefit from starting at the beginning with Excel 1 which is the perfect introduction to the core concepts, terminology and navigation of the application. Before you decide to start with a course later in the series, we recommend reviewing the full list of topics covered by downloading the PDF outline for that course below the course description. 

LIVE Remote training classes can be taken anywhere using your own devices. This method provides the same hands-on experience you would get in the classroom, minus the commute.

Classroom training is taken at our facility in downtown Phoenix. We provide everything you need to take the class – including refreshments and technical assistance by onsite support staff. All you need to bring is yourself.

Instructors may or may not be present in the classroom.  A hands-on experience will be provided for each participant regardless of the location chosen.

Refer to your confirmation email to see the start and end times for your class.

The actual class end time may vary from the scheduled end time due to class size and student skill level.

All times are in MST for Phoenix, AZ where Daylight Savings Time is not observed.

LIVE Remote students may begin joining the virtual classroom 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

Classroom participants are encouraged to arrive at our facility about 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Students that arrive late will be asked to reschedule.

You will need:

  • A stable, high-speed internet connection (wired is recommended over Wi-Fi whenever available)
  • A PC or laptop with mouse and keyboard
  • A second monitor (preferred) or device (screen size should be large enough to view instructor’s share)
  • Speakers or headphones are a must and a microphone is recommended.
